Children’s Dentistry

About Us

Children are welcomed and loved at our practice!

We provide pediatric dental services for children as young as infants. Our main goal is to create a positive experience, so your child will be excited about dental visits and look forward to visiting us again and again! We realize how important it is that children have positive dental experiences early in life, as these experiences will influence how they care for their teeth the rest of their lives. Our practice offers many kid-friendly amenities to make your child’s visit fun and exciting:

Your Child’s Visit

Every examination includes an assessment of your child’s developing teeth and any spacing or crowding. We will make sure teeth are erupting in the proper position, check for extra or genetically missing teeth, and will help you determine if early braces are needed to help with your child’s development.

If it’s determined that your child has decay, don’t worry! We provide safe, comfortable dental care to get the teeth back to optimal health. We will discuss all of your options so you can make an informed decision for your child. Parents often tell us that their children had so much fun getting their teeth fixed, they want to be dentists when they grow up!

A Focus on Prevention

The best news about dental decay is that it’s completely preventable! We will discuss home care and dietary options with you to help your little ones remain cavity-free. We offer multiple preventive treatments, including sealants and fluoride placement.

Sealants are a protective coating placed on the chewing surfaces of adult teeth just after they grow into the mouth. They protect the teeth from developing cavities in the most susceptible areas.

Fluoride treatments are a quick, effective way to protect teeth for many months after your dental visit. It’s not the foamy mess you remember as a child – our office uses a thin varnish that’s easily applied at the end of the appointment. Several fruity flavors are available, and you can eat and drink immediately after! You are free to give your child snacks or water right when you get home.
